Nokia is made an excellent comeback ever since HMD Global took control over Nokia. With the company using Nokia’s branding presence, the company is doing an excellent job with their latest lineup of smartphones.
With their most recent recent Nokia 8 receiving an excellent amount of praise for its excellent design and performance, Nokia has recently confirmed some more good news for those who recently got a Nokia phone for themselves. Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas has just announced that their latest lineup of smartphones would get the Android 8.0 update, including the Nokia 3. In a tweet he said:
All of our smartphones will upgrade to Oreo, Nokia 3 included. No comments yet on timing so that I don’t get into trouble.
All in all, that some great news, and thanks to the stock Android experience that Nokia provided on their Nokia 3, 5, 6, and 8, we could expect them to launch the update soon. But now that there isn’t any confirmed ETA for the update, let’s just hope Nokia updates their lineup of smartphones to Android 8.0 Oreo faster than Samsung.
