Xiaomi has been one of the biggest reasons why the trend for a larger screen-to-body ratio kicked off. The company first released the MiX smartphone back in October 2016 where the company showed off what is said “bringing concepts to life”. The Xiaomi Mi MiX had an excellent launch and paved way for the LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S8. While it was a marvel of its time, there’s no denying that Xiaomi wasn’t the first to come up with the idea.
The Xiaomi Mi MiX has been with us for almost a year now. And being the phone that kicked off this whole trend, fans and enthusiasts alike are curious to see what Xiaomi has in store for the Mi MiX 2. According to a moderator on the Xiaomi forums, the Xiaomi MiX 2 is set to debut on the 11th of September which is right before Apple unveils their next iPhone. And while this news is confirmed, nor Xiaomi or the thread starter give any information on what the phone may pack or may look like. No teasers, except a reveal date, Period!
