Xiaomi has been really active in the mid-range market. Offering high-end specifications for thin wallets is one of their core fundamentals. Calling themselves, an ‘Internet Company’, Xiaomi has quickly expanded throughout Asia with Xiaomi’s core customers coming in from India, China itself and SEA countries.
With Xiaomi releasing the Redmi 4A last year, Xiaomi finally allowed users who had tighter budgets to finally get a decent smartphone for the price. With the Redmi Note 5A, it seems like its time for a refresh. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5A seems to push for the larger screen while carrying the ‘A’ at its end.

Recently a leak took off that showed off the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A box in its full glory. Similar to what Xiaomi has been doing in the past, they’ve opted for yet another design again. This time, the opted for a simple red box with simple text.
Rumors suggest that the Note 5A may pack the Snapdragon 630 SoC along with 32GB/64GB of storage paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. As far as the display goes, we’re looking at a 5.5-inch 1080p display. There’s no word on pricing, but obviously the phone would be affordable.
