At MWC 2017 in Shanghai, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ won the “best smartphone” award, by Asia Mobile Awards (AMO). This is by far the best award that has been given to Samsung’s latest pair of smartphones. Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics China, Mr. Tong Wang, received the award.
The Asia Mobile Awards ceremony was held on the first day of MWC Shanghai. The event will continue until the 1st of July. According to Samsung, the winner of the best smartphone award was chosen by a number of journalists, market influencers, and analysts. They assessed the candidates based on many factors, such as design, build quality, performance, value for money, etc.
