Not too long ago, EA officially announced the upcoming Need for Speed title, which is coming this year. EA just confirmed an upcoming NFS title, they didn’t reveal much about it. However, today, EA and the official NFS Twitter page tweeted a new teaser image, with the caption “Let’s get this party started shall we?”. This might be the first detail EA has revealed about the upcoming NFS title.

At first glance, the above teaser image looks like a bunch of clouds. Well, if you darken the image, you will be able to see the details in the picture, which appear to be the Las Vegas Skyline. This indicates that the upcoming Need for Speed title is set in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The most prominent thing in the picture is the tower, which looks exactly like the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas. Although we’re sure that the picture shows Las Vegas, you should still take this with a grain of salt, this is just out speculation. Many other people believe that the image shows Seattle, as the tower in the picture also looks like the Space Needle in Seattle. We believe that the image shows Las Vegas because the Space Needle in Seattle has protruding pillars that hold the observation deck.
Other things we know about the upcoming Need for Speed is that it will not have the always-online mode, unlike the 2015 NFS Reboot. EA will reveal more about the upcoming Need for Speed at their E3 2017 conference. For more, keep it set on GeeksULTD.
