If you’re into online gaming, you may have heard about PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It is a massive multiplayer Battle Royale game, similar to H1Z1: King of the Kill, but a lot better. The developers of PUBG, Bluehole, have officially announced that the game is going to be getting a new “major” update this week.
This update is going to fix a lot of bugs and it will improve the game’s performance too. According to Bluehole, the new update will fix a huge bug related to aiming. The new update will also fix lots of performance issues and issues with character animations.
Aside from bug fixes and performance improvements, the new update will also bring a new weapon to the game, called the VSS. The VSS is going to be a very rare weapon just like the AWM, found only in care packages. The VSS may spawn on the map too but it will be very rare. The VSS will come equipped with a suppressor and a 4x scope. It’ll use 9mm ammo. That means, if you find a VSS, you’ll have a big shot at the first spot, thanks to the suppressed sniper rifle that uses 9mm ammo, which is very easy to find.
The upcoming update will also bring some awesome new UI improvements. After the update, you will be able to use the delete key to remove a marker on the map. The map will also have an indicator on it, that’ll show the direction to the next circle.
Bluehole has announced that the upcoming update will hit the wild on 25th May, 2017, at 4 AM ET/1AM PT/9 AM BST. Here are the full patch notes:
