Huawei rocked many fans at CES 2017 when they first showed off the successor to the Honor 5X, the 6X. Behold comes the wolf to tear down flash into the market. Huawei’s Honor 5X was amazingly well-received throughout the world, and with it’s successor making some room for itself in the market, there’s no wonders how well it would be.
For the first time ever, at such a low-price point, Huawei is offering dual-cameras with the Honor 6X, and not just any cameras, the second camera actually depth of field information. For the rear, a 12MP sensor is responsible for those pictures, meanwhile the second depth of field camera is actually a 2MP sensor.
When it comes to battery life, Huawei is promising about 1 and a half day of usage on the Honor 6X, while this may not be the accurate case for many, it should be an interesting test to find out how well Huawei lives on it’s claims.
For the power, Huawei’s in-hour Kirin 655 Octa-Core CPU has been put up to the task. Aiding the CPU, you have two options, you can either pick the 3GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB variant. Additionally, you have three color options to choose from, grey, silver and gold. Thanks Huawei for not giving the colors weird names.
In Malaysia, the Honor 6X is available for Pre-Order on a local e-commerce e-retailer Lazada. To grab one for yourself, you can either pre-order from Lazada or visit your favorite seller and pickup the Honor 6X 3GB/32GB variant for RM1199. If you want to wait a bit longer, until the 6th of March that is, you could get your hands on the Honor 6X with 4GB RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage for RM1,399 if that’s your thing.
