EA DICE recently released the latest Battlefield 1 Update 1.04 for PS4, PS4 Pro, PC and the Xbox One consoles. The update brought positive changes along with it, especially for PC users. Battlefield 1 runs much better on the PC after the update. But, on the PlayStation 4 Pro, the update downgraded the performance of the game.
Latest Battlefield 1 Update Downgrades Performance on PS4 Pro
Many users on various internet forums are reporting performance issues on the PlayStation 4 Pro after the update 1.04. Players are reporting jittery gameplay and downgraded visuals.

Players are reporting Battlefield 1 performance issues on Reddit, NeoGAF, and official Battlefield 1 forums. After the latest update, the performance on Battlefield 1 on the PS4 Pro has downgraded. The game doesn’t run as good as before the update.
“Was playing all afternoon pre-patch and not only does it look softer post patch it runs worse too. Just go play Argonne Forest and run around. There’s definitely a performance hit.”
