Warcraft: The Beginning has now become the most successful video game movie ever. It made $377.6 Million, beating Tomb Raider’s $275 Million and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time’s $335 Million.
The movie was a big hit in the Chinese cinemas as it received the widest Chinese cinema release of any film ever. Warcraft: The Beginning made about $45 Million on the first day in the Chinese box office. It was shown in 67.5% of the cinemas in China. The movie made $37.7 Million from North America.
