Say Good Bye to PS4 Ustream Support From August 1
Starting from August 1, The Usteam streaming service will no longer be supported. Sony has announced that they’re ending the PS4 Ustream support starting from August 1. Players will still have the ability to stream directly to Twitch, Dailymotion and YouTube. However, watching Ustream via PlayStation Vita, Live from PlayStation on PS4 or PlayStation App will not be possible.
Sony also apologized for any inconvenience caused by the discontinuation of Ustream. They also said that they appreciate our understanding.

This is a sensible decision from Sony, as the Ustream service is not highly-demanded. Streaming services like Twitch and YouTube are taking over. So yeah, Sony continuing support for Ustream is not necessary.
