Okay so now that we summed up the Design and Build Quality. Now, how about a look at its Display & Audio Quality!
02| Display & Audio Quality
MSI opted for a 1920 x 1080 15.6 inch Full HD display on the GP62-2QE, and in my opinion I really don’t mind it at this price point. Even if they did opt for a 1440p or 4k screen, first of all, the GPU won’t be able to handle games at this resolution, and secondly, it’ll result in a higher cost. That being said, the display isn’t the best. Its a TN panel, so viewing angles are just okay and color accuracy isn’t the best. The screen is average in my opinion, there isn’t anything about the laptop’s display that stood out from an ordinary laptop’s display. As of what I can see, MSI cut on this to bring the cost down.
As of the audio quality, its good its very loud, but minor distortions are noticeable. MSI equipped their GP62-2QE with two separate Left and Right stereo speakers which enhance the gaming experience. Watching Youtube videos was an enjoyable experience overall.
Here’s the Pros and Cons of the Display & Audio Quality
Pros:
- Decent Screen
- Speakers are loud
- Good Left and Right speakers
Cons:
- Minor distortions at full volume
- Viewing Angles
