Xiaomi Rubber Mousepad Review: Worth it for RM10?

So I recently picked up a Xiaomi mousepad from Lelong.my for RM7.90, seems good? Yeah sure the price is cheesy, but should you want to give it a chance? Let’s find out!

01| Design and Quality

What I really love is the numerous design and patterns available from Xiaomi there’s alot of options out there. In my case, I got another design instead of what I ordered for. Just to confirm with you guys that this design which I ordered from lelong isn’t officially for Malaysia, instead it was intended for China which may be the reason I got it for RM7.90. According to my measurement the mousepad seems big enough. The dimensions are 29.5cm x 24.5cm and I believe the thickness is 3mm.

The design of the fabric on top seems to be silk-like. It has a bit of shine to it which I really liked. However, I noticed the finishing on the sides weren’t ideal, at least on my mousepad. Moreover, pushing the fabric up very gently starts it to curl but the top fabric does not come off, that’s for sure!

02|User Experience

The experience with this mousepad was great, nothing fancy, but I had no problem with it either. While working on my Powercolor R9 390 review I used the mouse a lot. I did a lot of gaming with it too! I really loved how my mouse glided over the mousepad in gaming. One thing that may not be a complaint to some is that when ever i moved the mousepad, the mousepad goes long with it too it slightly moves away. Anyway, that doesn’t seem to be a major issue at all.

03|Price

The pricing of this mousepad is very very attractive for RM10 you’re getting a mouse from a reputable brand with a few minor quirks. If you just need a mousepad. This must be your first choice.
