Samsung’s new S8 to finally use a 4k screen for VR – Rumor

Well it hasn’t been long since the Samsung Galaxy S7 launched and now we are already hearing rumors of Samsung’s new flagship. According to leaks Samsung finally opted for a 4k screen instead of their traditional 1440p screen. Usually for mobile usage 1440p is enough and I guess a bit overkill. But for VR 4k makes total sense. The screen will have a PPI of 806 and will have a total area of 5.5inches.

More features include dual rear cameras, welcome to the bandwagon Samsung! One complaint is that with 1440p screens the images still don’t appear as appealing, with 4k this will hopefully solve the problem. As of the CPU we should be looking at a new 10nm process CPU from Samsung themselves since Sasmung now manufactures its own CPUs, Nonetheless, very impressive here.
